Farewell!

You will probably know by now that at the end of June, we as a family will be heading over to Seattle for a year in order for me to continue my studies. It has been an exciting journey that has unfolded, and we feel confident that we are following God’s plan for us. We’d love to share a bit more of what this adventure is all about.

I will be studying through The Resurgence Training Center, which is the training arm of the Mars Hill Church in Seattle. I will be participating a program called Re:Train; a year long course that combines rigorous theological instruction with practical ministry experience.

The focus of the course is to raise up Jesus-centered, gospel-saturated leaders who will serve churches in ways that are biblically faithful and culturally accessible.

Mars Hill Church currently have 8 campuses around Seattle, and we will most probably be helping out at the Shoreline campus, just to the north of the city.

We hear that Seattle is a beautiful city in a wonderful part of the USA, and even if the weather is more suited to ducks than humans, we look forward to exploring the areas around our temporary new home.

We are very excited about the year ahead, and we’re trusting God to grow and equip us, as well as clarify what the next season of ministry will look like for our family.
