At the heart of our discipleship with Jesus is a call to personal disciple-making: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19). This is both the responsibility of the Church as a whole, and the individuals of the Church. At RUC we have spent a lot of time focusing on the discipleship ministries of the Church, now it is time to mobilise the people of the Church to be disciple-makers in the context of everyday life!
At this conference we will be launching our very own, in-house, RUC-designed Personal Disciple-making Plan, which will equip everyday followers of Jesus to be disciple-makers.
The conference is thus an introduction to the RUC plan, and is therefore applicable to anybody who is curious about how they can intentionally be making disciples. In the remaining months of the year, and into the beginning of 2022, we will be providing further equipping & encouraging events for those who feel ready to being the new year as a disciple-maker
Friday 15 October, 7:00pm-8:30pm (The Street cafe will be open for light meals and refreshments before and after the event)
Saturday 16 October, 7:30am for 8:00am-12:30pm ( The Street cafe will be open from 7:00 for breakfast, and remain open after the event for lunch)
On Friday night we will cover the motivation for Personal Disciple-making. On Saturday we will deal with the Pathway for disciple-making in the first session, then Principles in the second session, closing with the rollout plan for RUC. Note that delegates who are not able to come on the Friday night are still invited to attend on Saturday.
Friday is free, Saturday is R50.
