One of our key focusses as a church is Excellent Equipping. We want to give people the tools they need in order to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through deepening knowledge and understanding of God’s Word. We believe that the Holy Spirit uses God’s Word as found in Holy Scripture to guide us in all truth through “teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” The ‘good work’ that we are equipped for is to be used by God to be a redemptive influence in our world. While all of our ministries aim to equip, there are a few which have a specific focus on equipping:
Sermons
One of our core values is sound, biblical preaching. We have collected more than a decade’s worth of our Sunday sermons for you to search and listed to or watch so that you can feed yourself on God’s Word.
JBC
Johannesburg Bible College (JBC) has entered into a partnership with our church to offer four courses each year specifically designed to equip Christians to know and understand God and his word and how it applies to all of life. The courses are all offered on the church campus.
Online Bible Lectures
From Rosebank Bible College we have put together four courses providing an introduction and overview of the Bible and Christian Theology. These are seminary level courses that will give you a good foundational knowledge of God as revealed in Scripture – which is so central to our faith.
Inductive Bible Study
Inductive study is an investigative approach to reading the Bible apart from another’s understanding or interpretation of the text. It involves three basic skills: Observation, Interpretation and Application.

LOLMD
Life-On-Life Missional Discipleship (LOLMD) is labouring in the lives of a few with the intention of imparting one’s life, the gospel and God’s Word in such a way as to see them become mature and equipped followers of Christ, committed to doing the same in the lives of others.
Workshops
Through our Care Ministry, we offer courses and workshops geared towards equipping people through common life circumstances. These include topics like premarital counselling, coping with grief, divorce recovery, single-parenting and cultivating healthy relationships.
