I have grown up reading my bible, reading devotionals and going through different bible studies. However, it was only when I joined a Precept Inductive Bible Study that I learned the value of taking time to go deep into God’s rich word. So often it’s easy for me to go through the busyness of life quickly reading scripture and leaving feeling that I only read words, and not that I took away deep meaning from God’s word. By doing the inductive bible studies through Precept Ministries, I was amazed at how deeply a few verses of a chapter of a book in the bible could challenge and grow me.
I have loved being able to experience Old and New Testament books, study and understand God’s word, and be able to apply it all to my life. I have been so convicted during my studies how I have been a Christian for most of my life and thought I new God’s word, but actually I was more of a bible illiterate. I am not the most diligent student but I am so grateful that God let my path cross with this precious ministry- it has blessed my life and grown my faith so much.
The Precept course has been a life changing experience for me.
It has enabled me to approach the Bible in a more confident, structured way. Initially I felt overwhelmed when reading the Bible on my own not always understanding what I read. I now I can’t wait to discover the beauty and truth in God’s word.
Through the course looking up the Greek words with their meanings has been so helpful in gaining insight into the context of the scripture, with the cross references adding further clarity.
Our meetings together have been a wonderful experience discussing what we have learnt, whilst the video sessions afterwards are extremely thought provoking and helpful for application to our daily lives.
The precept course has been and continues to be invaluable in growing and enriching my faith!

It has been such a blessing and privilege to study the book of Daniel.
Personally it has been a reminder of The Sovereignty of The Lord . I have become even more aware of the non-believers in my family will diligently bring them before the Lord in prayer for their salvation.
The lectures and the teacher Jacie have really been a great help to me in the study of Daniel. Studying in this way has been a great challenge for me and God willing I will go from strength to strength in the following courses of Precepts.
I still have so much to learn!
