Our annual Thanksgiving Offering runs through October / November and is given over and above normal tithing. It is allocated to gospel projects outside of RUC’s ministry.
This year the Thanksgiving offering this year will be shared between the three projects below.
All contributions to the Thanksgiving Offering can be deposited into the RUC General account and referenced ‘Thank Offering’

Peace Ministries was founded by Alick Banda and have planted more than 98 churches in Malawi, Mozambique & Zambia. Their main focus areas are church planting and outreach to Muslims. A very exciting project currently under way is the building of a church to serve as their head office premises in Blantyre. The building will be used for worship, administration & training church planters & pastors. This project is instrumental in ensuring the church reaches a level of depth equal to its width. The land was sourced some years ago & construction is at slab level at present.
Campus Outreach is a ministry to University students on the Wits, UJ and Tuks Campus. They focus on evangelism and discipleship of students
Red Frogs is a ministry that are well known for serving at Matric Rage and other events. They provide a positive peer presence in alcohol-fuelled environments where young people gather and promote and provide non-alcoholic and diversionary activities that engage young people in these environments.
